Rio de Janeiro is a natural landscape of beaches, lakes and mountains under the statue of Christ the Redeemer.

Rio de Janeiro was the capital of Brazil from 1763 until 1960; although Rio is no more the administrative capital, it still be the cultural capital of the country. Some of the country´s best museums, cultural centers, restaurants, galleries are in the city. And Rio boasts a spectacular architectural heritage spanning over three centuries allied with modernist style.

Rio has a rare combination of buildings, rainforest mountains and landmarks like Corcovado (mountain supporting Christ statue) and Sugar Loaf mountain.

Rio is the country’s second largest city with 7 million inhabitants and about 13m in wider metropolitan area.
